Our scoliosis groups take place on Monday evenings from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and
Wednesday evenings from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
The group size is a maximum of 5 participants and is led by our experienced Schroth therapists. After a detailed assessment of the findings, the exercise plan is drawn up. We consolidate and deepen the individual work and answer questions about scoliosis. The exercises to do at home are checked and extended and, last but not least, we motivate each other and exchange experiences.
A group unit includes the assessment and 10 consecutive guided exercise sessions and costs 150 euros
training on devices
The guided training on equipment can supplement the scoliosis groups and is used for special muscle building and fitness training. Whether you are suitable for training on equipment depends on your training status and the degree of curvature and requires the approval of our therapists.
We offer you an individual introduction, a control appointment plus 10 free training units without instructions for 90 euros.
Pilates groups for everyone take place in our practice on Friday evenings and Tuesday mornings. The groups are led by Holger Neumann, a sports and gymnastics teacher and Pilates trainer.
Pilates is a very effective method of
training strength and endurance. The mixture of yoga, stretching, posture
and breathing training is unique and highly effective.
Some of the course costs are covered by health insurance companies.
The Schroth therapists decide whether you are suitable for this training.
10 sessions of 60 minutes cost 85 euros.
The Kinesio-Tape is an effective, side effect and medication-free patch that supports the body’s self-healing powers. It is breathable, anti-allergenic and waterproof and remains on the skin for several days to achieve the maximum effect. Within scoliosis therapy, it can support breathing and body awareness, it helps to mobilize tissue and stimulate muscles. We would be happy to advise you whether kinesiotape can make sense in your case.
The scoliosis days take place regularly in our rooms. Here we provide information about the clinical picture of scoliosis/hyperkyphosis and its treatment according to the Katharina Schroth method, record findings and offer the opportunity to meet and exchange ideas with those affected in a pleasant atmosphere. Also in the program are massages (by prior arrangement) and an exercise group to get a taste of what’s going on.
